Polymechanic (m/f)

Polymechanics draw up production programmes, set up the manufacturing machines and monitor the production process. It is they who ensure that production facilities continue to function. They perform setting, adjustment and testing work for the assembly of machines, equipment and apparatus.

• Completion of "Sekundarschule A or B" (i.e. normal high-school graduation or advanced level high-school graduation or equivalent) - for more demanding positions
• Interest in mathematics and physics
• Interest in working with machines and metal machining
• Interest in and understanding of technical matters
• Capacity for spatial visualization
• Craft skills
• Conscientious method of working

Duration of Apprenticeship: 4 years

Training Location: Zurich
