Centrifugal Compressor
MAN Turbo’s product range includes a variety of centrifugal compressors. Centrifugal compressors are extremely robust machines that can be built for the compression of various gases.
The casing design determines whether the compressors are categorised as horizontally or vertically split, each type having different attributes and application limits. The advantages and disadvantages of each and the feasibility of using a particular compressor should be considered with regard to the application in question. The specialists at MAN Turbo will be happy to assist you in this.
Centrifugal compressors are used in a wide range of industries. MAN Turbo offers specific solutions tailored to the customer specification for various applications:
- Oil and gas industry (up-, mid- and downstream)
- Air separation plants
- Chemical industries & Petrochemicals
- Iron & steel, mining
- Paper industry.
