Engineering Studies

Engineering studies are based on a combination of experience acquired globally and in-house databases and documents to provide technical, commercial and logistical advice with regard to revamps, modernization and relocation.

Original Spare Parts

The scale of our organization and EDP support facilitate prompt Deliveries of OEM parts ensuring that your machinery and plant are fully functional and available. We also offer our customers the option of ordering parts online via our epos® Internet portal.

Service and Maintenance

Our experienced service teams undertake Repairs and wide-ranging general overhauls of single machines and machine sets worldwide.
Only a small amount of time and erection work is required to verify the condition of the machine reliably and to commission a preventive diagnostic service (irds® trend monitoring system).

Field Commissioning / Field Services

We offer two alternatives for planning and executing the erection of new machines, commissioning, inspection and maintenance work in the context of our activities:

• Provision of all the staff required to carry out the activities
• Provision of supervisory staff if the work is to be undertaken by the customer or by a subcontractor engaged by the customer.

Modernization / Modification (Upgrades)

Existing installations can be improved with regard to reliability, availability and operating costs by modernization/modification of our machinery and plant.

Capacity Adaptation (Rerates)

If there should be a change in the process conditions, rerating of the capacity data of existing machines is the most economical solution in certain cases with regard to direct investment costs, follow-up costs and stoppage and lost production times.

Relocations

A change of production site necessitates relocation of the entire stock of machinery. Turnkey relocation of machinery and plant is one of MAN TURBO’s specialities and naturally comes with a performance guarantee.

Second-hand Machines

Our business dealing in second-hand machinery and equipment covers:

• Trading in second-hand machines, complete machinery sets and related auxiliary units
• The overhaul and modernization of used machines in line with the customer's requirements
• Turnkey relocation of machinery and plant.

Service Contracts

Our modular agreement formats offer the advantage of enabling us to put individual service packages together taking possible budget constraints and target costs into consideration.

Condition Monitoring

irds® (Intelligent Remote Diagnostic System) in combination with adams® (automatic data analysis & mailing system) is an integral part of service contracts and offers the operator and manufacturer a wealth of options for optimizing plant operation.

Laboratory Services

Our service laboratory, accredited in compliance with DIN EN 45001, is equipped with the latest instruments and provides valuable support for analysis and the selection of suitable materials or protective measures.

Jobbing

We carry out external production orders (jobbing), performed on our extensive, modern machine park.

Customer Training

We’ll train your staff. We offer you training programmes that cater for functions ranging from operator to plant manager. Training can be undertaken at MAN TURBO, at your site or as a combination of the two.
